Batman: Zero Year
Batman: Zero Year is a cross-over event intended to redefine Batman's origins.
Zero Year isn't a retelling of other tales (such as Batman: Year One) but rather a fresh take on the Dark Knight's origins; it incorporates several elements from Batman: Year One, like Bruce Wayne's multi-year absence and his first attempts at vigilantism.

The main story runs through Batman (Vol. 2) #21-27 and #29-33 (#28 was originally also scheduled to be part of the "Batman: Zero Year" story, but instead acted as a preview issue to Batman: Eternal, with its events running concurrently with Batman: Eternal #43.

Batman: Death Of The Family
Batman: Death Of The Family is the second Batman cross-over spinning out of the relaunched Batman title, and features Joker's return to Gotham City.
Like The Court Of Owls, Death Of The Family is not a traditional cross-over in the sense of the reader needing to read each title in a specific order. The main story is told in the pages of Batman (Vol. 2); the tie-in titles tell their own stories within the larger arc and are not essential to the main plot.
The main story runs from Batman (Vol. 2) #13 to Batman (Vol. 2) #17; the tie-in books from other titles begin their stories in issue #14 or #15.

- Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion - Focuses on The Rogues.
In addition, several of DC's ongoing comic series tied in to Forever Evil:

- Justice League of America #8-13 - Focusing on the fate of the Justice Leagues;
- Suicide Squad #24-29.
Teen Titans #24-25 were originally solicited as tie-ins to the event, but upon their release, did not tie-in, instead focusing on the Titans' individual travels through the time stream, as a result of the events in Forever Evil #2.
Villains Month
As part of the annual commemoration of the 2011 launch of The New 52, DC Comics announced that the fallout of the summer event Trinity War would feature the super-villains of the DCU taking over the titles of their heroic foes for a month.
This would serve to trump up publicity for Forever Evil, the first post-Flashpoint DC crossover event. These villain issues would be Point Ones in terms of numbering. The selected ongoing series would have one-to-four Point One issues published in one month (September 2013), and the total number of villain issues would be 52.
The list of these Batman (and related) villain issues is as follows:
All #23.X issues have special covers with 3D motion images and cost $3.99; standard editions with ordinary covers (in 2D) and cost $2.99 (as usual).
