The Batman Chronicles is a series of trade paperbacks published by DC Comics, intended to reprint Batman stories from Detective Comics, Batman, World's Finest Comics and other titles throughout the character's history, chronologically (based on publication date), starting with his earliest appearances.

These trades are priced significantly lower than the DC Archive Editions series in order to be more affordable for the reader. While the Archives tend to focus on specific comics titles (e.g., largely separate volumes for stories presented in the pages of Batman and Detective Comics), The Batman Chronicles and Showcase volumes take a more chronological approach, mingling the titles to present the stories in (roughly) the order they were initially printed.

As of 2016, DC is re-publishing stories in the same chronological format in two series with matching trade dress:

• Each trade paperback volume of Batman: The Golden Age contains the same material as two of The Batman Chronicles;
• Each (oversized) hardcover volume of Batman: The Golden Age Omnibus contains the same material as four of The Batman Chronicles.
